Take up to 6 sachets per day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. MelliTONIC can be consumed directly or mixed into water, yogurt or a smoothie.Due to its high natural honey content, MelliTONIC may crystallise over time — this is a completely natural process that does not affect the quality, safety or nutritional value of the product, only its texture. If you prefer a liquid consistency, simply place the sachet in warm water for a few minutes before consumption. That said, many of our customers actually prefer MelliTONIC chilled straight from the fridge — the cool temperature gives it more refreshing taste. The good news is that MelliTONIC is stable across a wide temperature range (from -10°C to +40°C), so whether you enjoy it at room temperature, warm or cold — it is entirely a matter of personal preference.
Officially, no — MelliTONIC is registered and sold exclusively as a food supplement, not as an aphrodisiac. The term "aphrodisiac" refers to any substance claimed to increase sexual desire or enhance sexual performance. Under EU Regulation No 1924/2006 on nutrition and health claims made on foods, no food supplement may be marketed with aphrodisiac claims in the European Union — such claims have not been scientifically validated to the standard required by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and are therefore not permitted.MelliTONIC contains botanicals that have been used for centuries as traditional tonic herbs in various cultures around the world. We make no claims about sexual function or desire. MelliTONIC is formulated to support energy and vitality as part of a balanced lifestyle.
MelliTONIC combines 11 natural ingredients that have been used for centuries in traditional herbal medicine across Asia, the Mediterranean and South America. The formula works through three complementary pathways:
Natural energy support: Ingredients such as raw honey, maca and cordyceps have been used traditionally as energy tonics, providing natural carbohydrates and bioactive compounds.Adaptogenic for endurance: Rhodiola rosea, ashwagandha, Siberian ginseng and fenugreek are all recognised adaptogenic herbs — plants traditionally used to help the body maintain balance during periods of physical or mental demand.Antioxidant power: Blueberries, ginger and lemon contribute polyphenols, gingerols and bioflavonoids — natural plant compounds with antioxidant properties. In practical terms, a diet rich in antioxidants is associated with more sustained energy levels, faster recovery after physical exertion, and a stronger immune response. Many people notice the difference not as a sudden effect, but as a gradual sense of resilience — getting through a demanding week without feeling completely drained, or recovering more quickly after illness or intense exercise. It is one of those things where you may not notice it working — until you stop. The tonic effect of MelliTONIC is gradual. For best results, consistent daily use over several weeks is recommended.
MelliTONIC is formulated with safety in mind and contains only ingredients permitted under EU food supplement legislation. However, as with any natural supplement, some individuals may wish to be aware of the following:
Rhodiola rosea: May cause mild restlessness or vivid dreams in sensitive individuals, particularly at higher doses.Ashwagandha: Generally very well tolerated. Not recommended during pregnancy. People with thyroid conditions or taking immunosuppressants should consult their doctor before use.Fenugreek: May cause a mild maple-syrup-like odour in sweat or urine in some people — this is harmless. May interact with blood-thinning medication.Ginger: In large amounts may cause mild heartburn in people with acid reflux. The amount in MelliTONIC is within normal culinary use levels.Honey: Contains natural sugars. People with diabetes should monitor their intake and consult their doctor if needed.MelliTONIC contains no stimulants, no synthetic compounds and no ingredients associated with serious adverse effects. It is not intended for use by persons under 18 years of age.If you are taking prescription medication or have a pre-existing medical condition, we recommend consulting your doctor before use.
Honey is not classified as a food allergen under EU Regulation No 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers, which lists the 14 major allergens subject to mandatory declaration. Honey does not appear on this list. However, some individuals may experience sensitivity to honey for unrelated reasons:
· Pollen sensitivity: Raw honey naturally contains trace amounts of pollen. People with hay fever or pollen allergies may react to these traces — this is a pollen reaction, not a honey allergy.· Fructose intolerance: Honey is high in fructose. Individuals with fructose malabsorption may experience digestive discomfort.· Bee venom allergy: This is an allergy to bee stings and is entirely separate from honey consumption.
If you have known pollen allergies or diabetes/ fructose intolerance, we recommend consulting your doctor before use.Speaking of allergens — MelliTONIC contains no substances from the 14 major allergen groups listed under EU Regulation No 1169/2011. Unlike many manufacturers who include precautionary "may contain traces of..." statements to cover cross-contamination risks, we do not — because the facility where MelliTONIC is produced works exclusively with allergen-free ingredients across all its product lines, and operates under the strict hygiene and contamination-prevention protocols required by IFS Food 8.0 certification, which eliminates the risk of cross-contamination at source.
All ingredients in MelliTONIC are grown and harvested without synthetic pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilisers. This matters for several reasons:
What goes in, goes in. Botanical extracts are concentrated — meaning any agrochemical residues present in the raw plant are also concentrated in the final product. Organic certification significantly reduces this risk.No heavy metals. Conventional farming in certain regions uses soil treatments that can lead to heavy metal accumulation in plants. Organic-certified supply chains are tested and monitored for heavy metal content. No GMOs. All ingredients are non-GMO. Genetic modification is not permitted under EU organic certification standards.Better for the plant too. Organically grown plants often develop higher concentrations of their natural bioactive compounds — the very compounds that make botanicals like rhodiola, ashwagandha and tribulus valuable as tonic herbs. Stress-free isn't always better in nature.Transparency and traceability. EU organic certification (the green leaf logo) requires full traceability from farm to final product, audited by independent certification bodies. It is not a marketing claim — it is a verified standard.MelliTONIC is manufactured in an organic certified facility in the EU (BG-BIO-14) — meaning both the ingredients and the production process meet independently verified organic standards.
This is an important question. The market for honey-based tonic products has grown significantly — but not all products are equal, and not all are legal in the European Union. A number of products, often imported from Turkey, China and other third countries, are sold as "natural stimulants" or "honey mixtures" and contain ingredients that are strictly prohibited as food supplement ingredients in the EU, including:
· Epimedium (commonly known as Horny Goat Weed) — contains icariin, a compound that acts on the same biochemical pathway as prescription erectile dysfunction medication. Its use in food supplements is banned in the EU.· Spanish Fly (Cantharidin) — perhaps the most notorious example of a dangerous "natural stimulant". Derived from dried blister beetles (Lytta vesicatoria), cantharidin is a highly toxic compound that causes severe irritation to the urinary tract and mucous membranes. Even in small doses it can cause kidney failure, internal haemorrhage and death. It has no safe dose as a food ingredient and is absolutely prohibited. Its reputation as an aphrodisiac is based entirely on the painful physical reaction it provokes — which has nothing to do with desire.· Yohimbe / Yohimbine — a stimulant derived from the bark of an African tree, associated with serious cardiovascular side effects including rapid heart rate, severe hypertension and anxiety attacks. Banned as a food supplement ingredient in the EU.· Undisclosed PDE5 inhibitors — some products sold as "natural stimulants" are found upon laboratory testing to contain synthetic analogues of sildenafil or tadalafil — the active pharmaceutical ingredients in Viagra and Cialis respectively. These are prescription-only medicines with serious contraindications, particularly for people taking nitrate-based heart medication, where the combination can be fatal.· DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) — a hormone precursor that directly influences testosterone and oestrogen levels. Classified as a medicine in the EU and not permitted as a food supplement ingredient. Widely sold online from non-EU sources.· Undeclared pharmaceutical compounds in tribulus products — some products marketed as "natural tribulus" or under brand names contain undeclared active pharmaceutical ingredients, making them illegal medicines sold illegally as supplements.
Such products are frequently sold through informal channels, online marketplaces and grey-market importers. They may pose serious health risks and their importation and sale in the EU may constitute a criminal offence.MelliTONIC contains only ingredients that are fully legal and permitted for use in food supplements in the European Union. It is manufactured in an IFS & BIO certified EU facility, complies with all applicable EU food law, and is registered as a food supplement with the relevant Bulgarian authorities (БАБХ – Рег. №П222402890/18.04.2024).When choosing a tonic supplement, always check: Is it manufactured in the EU? Does it list all ingredients clearly? Is it registered as a food supplement? If the answer to any of these is unclear — be cautious.
